This 1974 Maserati Khamsin has undergone major restorations to the body, interior and engine in recent years and is therefore in a uniquely beautiful condition. It is a great car to drive but will certainly not look out of place in a collection. This Maserati has been in the Netherlands since 1993 and has had two owners there. In 2007 the body was restored and repainted in the original colour. This has been tackled very thoroughly, the complete body has been made bare down to the bare metal. The paint is tight and smooth all around. Photos of the work are available. In 2008 the interior was renewed. All seat parts, door panels and other interior parts are newly upholstered with leather and partly with suede. And a completely new carpet set has been installed. This was done very professionally and looks beautiful. The engine was completely overhauled in 2017 with a mileage of 25,688 km. Less than 2,500 km ago. During this overhaul, bearings and pistons were replaced, among other things, and the cylinder heads were overhauled. All work was carried out by or under the supervision of ITALAUTO in Achterveld, who have also performed all other maintenance work over the years. In 2008 the Khamsin was also equipped with a custom-made stainless steel exhaust system by EPS Exhausts from Kiel-Windeweer. Since 2008, more than € 155,000 has been invested in this Maserati. There is therefore little to nothing to criticize about this beautiful car. Invoices and photos of all work are available.

What more can we say about this mighty Machine? It is equipped with a 320 HP strong 4.9 liter V8 with a manual five-speed ZF gearbox behind it. The car is “matching numbers” and has the original color scheme, original wheels and period (new) Michelin tires. The power steering and braking system are the hydropneumatic LHM system from Citroën.
